Lighthouse Remains Operational during COVID-19

Based on the increasing number of positive COVID19 cases in Placer County and the surrounding counties, as Executive Director, I have made the decision to close our offices and have staff work from home remotely. We are transitioning our operations so that we can continue to provide maximum support to the community.  Our mainline (916-645-3300) will be transferred automatically so we can continue to answer Lighthouse calls per our normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; closed for lunch 12:00 PM -12:30 PM). As much as humanly possible, when someone calls Lighthouse during regular business hours, they will receive support from a live person. Lighthouse staff will have access to email. Lighthouse counselors will reach out to their clients telephonically or via Skype. Our Family Resource Support Specialists will be reaching out (via phone) to clients to check on their physical and mental health status. All of our educational classes and groups have been cancelled due to the restriction of no more than 10 people being in close proximity of each other. The Lighthouse leadership team will continue to closely monitor operations through this crisis. We will continue operating remotely until such time it is deemed safe to return to work in our offices.
